The “Brang-era” has come to an end with reports claiming the power couple of Hollywood has finally decided to part ways. Both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are said to be in talks with lawyers over a £205million ($330 million) split deal. The couple’s legal papers reportedly signed earlier this week reveal that they plan to share their fortunes equally. The couple has three adopted children – Maddox, eight, Pax, six, and Zahara, five, and three biological children Shiloh, three, and 17-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne. Although both partners will have equal custody of the children, they will stay with their mother, Angie. Brangelina has a joint fortune of $322million, and their property includes mansions in France, California, and New Orleans.
Although their rumored split speculations are doing the rounds for since long, preparations for their break-up reportedly began in December when they visited a Los Angeles legal firm to begin thrashing out a deal. However, People magazine has refuted these rumors by reporting that ‘multiple sources close to the family’ have told the publication the split rumors are not true.
At least for the sake of their children, let’s hope these rumors are just that, rumors.
