Imagine having your favorite cartoon character on your favorite designer bag ! Coach, the luxury fashion house, has super imposed the ever adorable Peanuts onto their new collection just as they had the Dragon illustrated collection to mark the Chinese New Year in 2012.
Totes, cross bodies, and duffel bags are embossed with Snoopy , Woodstock, Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang. They are available in hues of ivory, brown and “Woodstock yellow”. Handbags, luggage tags, bookmarks, wallets, coin purses are part of this collection. They have also created T- shirts and a black leather stuffed Snoopy in varied sizes.
The handbag collection is launched today at Collette, a French boutique and will be available on the Coach website from October 24th and in Coach stores on Nov 1st.
It is quite an amalgamation of a stylish brand with playful and happy characters that invoke childhood memories. The Snoopy Bleeker Duffle and the black Woodstock tote are testimony to this.
The Woodstock hangtag costs about $32, while the Snoopy pullover costs $716 and the most expensive handbag comes at $665.
