We are talking about an ingenious piece of footwear created by talented Romanian shoemaker Grigore Lup that measures a whopping Size 75 and is equipped to keep the crowds at bay! Yes, that’s right!

After noticing that people were not following the safety norms amid the coronavirus pandemic, Lup decided to create a pair of shoes that can come to one’s rescue. Commenting on it, he said, “You can see it on the street, people are not respecting social distancing rules. I went to the market to buy seedlings for my garden. There weren’t many people there, but they kept getting closer and closer. He further added, “If two people wearing these shoes were facing each other, there would be almost one-and-a-half meters between them.”
Craft fully designed, the footwear requires almost one square meter of leather and measures a massive European Size 75. A pair retails at $115 and Lup has so far received five orders for it. The shoes have also been received well on social media, with one person even tweeting – “This is brilliant and absurd.” Well, honestly – we couldn’t have agreed more!
