Host nation Russia has had a stellar beginning to their 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign by winning their first two games comprehensively. To celebrate the national team’s incredible performance, luxury accessories maker Caviar has released a new customized iPhone X that pays tribute to the entire team. Well, it makes sense because the current Russian soccer team is the lowest ranked team participating in the World Cup and was widely criticized as the weakest Russian team ever. However, the team has successfully been able to silence its critiques by scoring the highest number of goals so far.
Russian website Lenta.ru reports that the customized iPhone X was released after the team’s emphatic victory over Egypt. At the back of the Caviar iPhone X, the names of the entire team along with coach Stanislav Cherchesov in engraved. Additional design elements include hexagonal pattern that symbolize the soccer ball, and the Russia’s emblem. The phone will be produced in a limited quantity of only 24 units, representing the total number of Russian players along with coach Stanislav participating in the World Cup. The special edition phone is priced at 237,000 Rubles in Russia, which roughly converts to $3700.
