Tonino Lamborghini launches limited edition ALPHA ONE Android smartphone for $2100

After a gap of two years, Tonino Lamborghini has returned to the ultra-premium smartphone market by launching the ALPHA ONE. The last couple of years have been turbulent for most of the luxury phone makers as their sales have continually seen sharp declines; yet, some of the brands have been defiant and continue to push new products. Back in 2015, Tonino Lamborghini launched 88 Tauri and Antares – two highly ornate Android smartphones. The new limited edition ALPHA ONE in comparison has a more elegant and toned down look. However, unlike the last two devices, the ALPHA ONE packs decent hardware inside to match the premium materials on the outside.

For the phone’s chassis, Tonino Lamborghini has used the same “stronger than titanium” liquid metal used in their super cars, making the extremely durable. The back is covered in beautiful Italian leather, handmade and lined with golden stitching. Powered by Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, the ALPHA ONE gets a 5.5-inch QHD screen, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of expandable memory, a large 3,250mAh battery and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. As of now, the phone is only available in Russia for RUB 119,000 (approximately $2100 USD) but it will be soon made available in UK, South Korea, China, and the UAE.
