One of the hottest and most in demand professionals in the culinary world is coming to your favorite holiday destination this summer – the Maldives! Chef Kenji Gyoten was inspired by his grandfather who was a sushi chef to become one himself and today he is among the most talented chefs in the world. His work at his own restaurant Sushi Gyoten in Fukuoka has earned him 3 Michelin stars over three consecutive years and the restaurant has a six month wait list to get in!
A lucky few will get the opportunity to skip the waitlist this summer as the esteemed chef will be serving up his signature specials at Soneva Fushi from August 18 – 29. The sushi chef will bring his skills to So Hand’s On – Soneva’s new sushi counter – for lunch and dinner on most days. Only five diners will be entertained at each meal being served up by Ched Gyoten, so to say these chef’s tables are exclusive would be a massive understatement.
Lunch is priced at USD 250 per person and dinner at USD 450 per person. In this instance you’re paying not only for that 3 Michelin starred dining experience, but also for the dramatic Maldivian island backdrop. This promises to be a memorable dining experience!
