Christian Lacroix designs the Club Signature lounge in Bangkok’s Sofitel

The Sofitel So Bangkok is Sofitel’s second boutique hotel following the Sofitel So Mauritius home to 238 rooms across 30 floors and opened in February. On the 25th floor, celebrated designer Christian Lacroix has added his touch of virtuoso by designing the newly opened Club Signature lounge that is open to the exceptional guests of the hotel. Taking inspiration from 19th century France and images and motifs of old Siam, Lacroix designed the interiors in collaboration with 6 Thai architects who have provoked the Asian philosophical system of the five elements of water, earth, wood, metal, and fire. Part of this is a colorful, dreamlike art centerpiece showing images of French dresses and Asian flowers.
