Dior has announced a new capsule collection of jewelry bursting with stunning colored gemstones. They have come up with six beautiful jewelry pieces for their spring collection. Taking inspiration from the Diorama dress designed by Christian Dior for their Spring Summer collection of 1951, these designs have recreated the twisted ribbons on the gowns in precious metals on Dior rings and asymmetrical earrings.
The two designs are available in three different combinations, pink morganite and diamonds on rose gold, amethyst and emeralds on yellow gold and white gold with crystalline aquamarine and diamonds. The open-ended design for the Dior rings are a hot favourite as are the asymmetrical earrings.
Jewellery has been an integral part of Dior designs since 1947, when it was just costume jewellery to enhance the outfits. It has come a long way now where the pieces are made of precious metals and stones.
