Superstar Shahrukh Khan has proved, that he is truly the King of Bollywood. As, Wealth-X’s Hollywood and Bollywood Rich List has named the star the second wealthiest actor in he world.The 48-year-old Bollywood star, has emerged this position in top 10 combined rich list of Bollywood and Hollywood stars, with an estimated fortune of $600 million, which is a net worth of more than Rs. 3,515 crore.
The only Indian actor in this prestigious list, Khan was found to be richer than Hollywood giants like Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, Clint Eastwood or Adam Sandler. Conducted by Singapore-based Wealth-X, the survey places comedian Jerry Seinfeld on the top position. It estimates the funny man’s fortune at $820 million.Tom Cruise is the third richest actor worth $480 million followed by Johny Depp and Tyler Perry both tied at $ 450 million. The beloved Indian actor’s success is not only contributed by more than 70 hits films, but with two production houses – Red Chillies Entertainment and Dreamz Unlimited, a stream of profitable endorsements, a cricket team, profit sharing deals in each movie he stars in as well as a big budget reality TV series built around him. Though, the actor humbly belives that he is rich, becuase he has beautiful children.
The list also includes several Academy Award winners like Jack Nicholson ($400 million), Tom Hanks ($390 million) and Clint Eastwood ($370 million). Nicholson is at the number six followed by Hanks, Bill Cosby, Eastwood and Adam Sandler.
