A supercar for the high seas – Lamborghini has built a $3.4 million powerboat that packs 4,000 hp

Automobili Lamborghini in collaboration with The Italian Sea Group has debuted a new limited edition super yacht called the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63. As the name suggests, it pays tribute to the Italian automaker’s foundation year of 1963. The first thing you’ll notice about the new superyacht is its design which is inspired by the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 – the Italian manufacturer’s first production hybrid car with 807HP and 217mph top speed. The most prominent design features are the Y-shaped lights at the front, which looks near identical to the DRLs found on the Sián FKP 37. The nose and the rear of the yacht are also very unusual for a sea vessel and aesthetically look straight out of a Lamborghini supercar. Lamborghini’s chief executive, Stefano Domenicali, said: “If I had to imagine a Lamborghini on water, this would be my vision. I’m delighted to celebrate this successful collaboration. We present Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, a motor yacht which will become as futuristic an icon as the car she is inspired by.”

The Lamborghini-inspired design elements aren’t just restricted to the exterior. The yacht’s instrument panel resembles a nautical-but-car-inspired cockpit with integrated navigation and control systems. Additionally, the sport seats in the yacht use Lamborghini’s ‘carbon skin,’ while the helm of the boat is a sporty Lamborghini car steering wheel. Just like Lamborghini’s road-going supercars, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 yacht is built from light weight carbon fiber; it weighs in at just 24 tons, which is quite impressive for a vessel that is 63 feet long. Powering the luxury boat is a pair of MAN 2,000hp V12 engines that can propel the vessel to a top speed of 60 knots, making it the fastest boat created by Tecnomar. The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is available to order now with her first deliveries beginning early next year.
