Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, has an estate so grand and gorgeous that Rolls-Royce chose it as the location for a photoshoot for its one of its kind $6 million Phantom limo

Rolls-Royce recently revealed a stunning one-off Phantom to pay homage to the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger. Believed to be worth $6 million, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Goldfinger, created to celebrate 60 years of the famous James Bond, was commissioned by a British collector. The bespoke masterpiece draws inspiration from the 1937 Phantom III Sedanca de Ville, owned by the movie’s eponymous villain, Auric Goldfinger.

In the film, the Phantom III is first seen in the iconic golf match scene featuring Bond and Goldfinger, which was shot at Stoke Park Golf Club. As a tribute, the British luxury marque shot the official pictures of its latest bespoke creation and the original Bond villain’s Phantom at the iconic estate, a property now owned by Mukesh Ambani, the richest person in Asia.

Set among 300 acres of glorious parkland, lakes, and historic gardens, Stoke Park is a gorgeous country estate located on the outskirts of London. The estate has a recorded history of over 1000 years; however, the mansion at the heart of the property was developed in 1760 by soldier and scholar John Penn.

Interestingly, it used to be the home of Queen Elizabeth I from 1581 after being sold to the Crown to pay the debts of nobleman Henry Hastings. The estate was used as a private residence until 1908 before it was converted into Britain’s first Country Club by sports administrator Nicholas “Pa” Jackson. Soon after, famous amateur golfer and course architect Harry Colt was commissioned to design the golf course.

Stoke Park can be spotted in numerous classic films as it has been a favorite amongst filmmakers. In addition to Goldfinger, two more Bond movies were shot at the estate, while the 2001 romcom Bridget Jones’ Diary and the Netflix series The Crown also feature the same location.

The estate is home to a luxurious five-star hotel with 49 beautiful rooms, three fine dining restaurants, a 4,000-square-foot well-equipped gym, a fitness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, 13 tennis courts, and a sprawling golf course. In 2021, Stoke Park was bought by the Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani for $79 million. At present, the historic estate is undergoing a comprehensive and is expected to return as a “premier golfing and sports resort” soon.
