The 2014 Mercedes Benz E-Class Coupe is one good looking car with its sloping roof, laidback design and pillar-less structure. Mercedes has beautifully fused sportiness with elegance in the E250 and the coupe features a smooth, uncluttered look. Mercedes Benz has released a special edition of the 2014 E-Class Coupe exclusively for Japan which will be limited to only 100 examples. 80 units out of the 100 limited edition E 250 will come with a special Polar White paintjob, where as the rest will sport a red Fire Opal color. The special edition Mercedes E 250 is based on the entry level E-Class Coupe equipped with a four-cylinder DOHC 2.0 liter direct-injection turbo engine and has been priced at ¥ 7.12 million ($71,000 approximately)
On the outside, the special edition E 250 coupe rides in with an 18-inch twin-spoke alloy wheels by AMG and AMG sports package as standard. It can also be ordered with special side, front and rear spoiler and skirts worth ¥ 200,000 ($2000 approx) which are optional extras. On the inside, the dashboard and the steering wheel are covered with Nappa leather. The Polar White E-Class Coupe has a Bengal red interior and the Fire Opal edition sports natural beige upholstery. It’s not the first special edition Mercedes exclusive for Japan and rather we have seen quite a few in the recent past including the limited edition GLK 350, B180 Northern Lights Black Edition and C63 AMG all released in 2013.
