Triumph Motorcycles and Breitling have joined forces to introduce a limited edition motorcycle and a matching timepiece

British motorcycle brand Triumph and Swiss luxury watchmaker Breitling have announced a new collaboration, bringing together their shared passion for precision engineering, performance, and style. The partnership between the two brands has spawned a limited edition version of the Speed Triple 1200 RR and a matching Chronomat B01 42. Starting with the limited edition timepiece, it features the same serial number as its corresponding motorcycle by Triumph. Since its debut in 1984, the Breitling Chronomat has become one of the most beloved and successful collections in the brand’s portfolio, known for its dependability, functionality, and style. Breitling patrons might remember that the Swiss brand overhauled the Chronomat B01 42 collection in 2020.

The limited edition Chronomat B01 42 Triumph watch features a distinctive look inspired by Triumph’s retro-modern superbike. The timepiece combines titanium and 18k red gold, complemented with an anthracite dial. The golden details of the watch pay a visual tribute to the Speed Triple 1200 RR’s class-leading Öhlins front forks. The Triumph logo marks its presence at the bottom end of the seconds hand. The watch is powered by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 movement, offering a power reserve of 70 hours.

Instead of the quintessential metal bracelet, the Chronomat B01 42 Triumph watch is fitted with a perforated brown alligator strap that captures the essence of “freedom on the open road” and motorcycling. Additionally, the caseback is engraved with the corresponding motorcycle’s unique number. “The Chronomat and the Speed Triple 1200 RR exemplify our joint devotion to the highest standards of design and performance,” said Breitling’s CEO, Georges Kern. “With Triumph, we share a rugged spirit that combines artistry with adventure.”

The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR Breitling Limited Edition gets plenty of special touches to set it apart from the standard version. Limited to only 270 individually numbered motorcycles worldwide, the motorcycle features a bespoke paint scheme with premium gold hand-painted detailing, a leather seat with French stitching, an exclusive Akrapovič silencer, and ultra-light carbon fiber parts. Furthermore, the digital gauge gets a custom Breitling start screen, while the Breitling logo is laser-etched onto the machined rear wheel finisher.

The Swiss watch brand’s logo also appears on the tank. The serial number is inscribed on the top yoke of the bike. Triumph CEO Nick Bloor added, “Teaming up with Breitling, we’ve united two worlds, delivering our shared passions for precision, speed, and impeccable style.” The limited edition motorbike is priced at £22,995 (~$30,000). However, the price of the matching Chronomat B01 42 has not been revealed yet.
