A cool memorabilia from the dire Covid situation – Qantas‌ ‌is selling fully stocked bar carts from their iconic ‌Boeing‌ ‌747‌ ‌jets

In offering a unique opportunity for enthusiasts to own a physical piece of the 747 legacy amid the pandemic, Qantas airlines recently listed 1000 units of fully stocked Boeing 747 bar carts on sale. Yes, that’s right!

Belonging to the airline’s recently retired Jumbo aircraft, the bar cart contained mini bottles (187ml) of Australian white wine, mini bottles (187ml) of Australian red wine, one full-sized bottle of Champagne, Tim Tams, savory biscuits, smoked almonds, Qantas business class amenity kits (featuring ASPAR Travel Essentials skincare products), a 100% combed cotton Sheridan throw made exclusively for Qantas First Class, and Qantas Business Class pajamas.

Dubbed as “pre-loved” and ideal for “those with an appreciation for aviation collectibles and an eye for design”, the bar carts also feature full instructions on how to operate them. Commenting on them, Phil Capps, Qantas Executive Manager of Product and Service said, “There has been a huge demand for Qantas 747 memorabilia, and frequent flyers have expressed keen interest to convert the bespoke inflight trolley into everything from lampstands to storage units,” He further added, “The fact they come fully stocked with some of Qantas’ most popular onboard service items will hopefully inspire some high-flying fun at home.”
