Australian billionaire to build 21st Century version of the Titanic

The sinking of the great Titanic was one of the deadliest maritime disasters to have ever occurred in the fate of history, and the world still flinches at the memory of that. However, Australian billionaire Clive Palmer takes great pleasure in recreating the Titanic replica, calling it Titanic II. The mining magnate from Queensland has commissioned a Chinese state-owned company to build a 21st Century version of the Titanic, complete with state-of-the-art technology and the latest navigation and safety systems. Mr. Palmer has signed an MOU with CSC Jinling Shipyard to construct the ship. He has ordered the vessel to be as similar to the original Titanic in design and specifications.

Then there were scores of obvious questions from reporters on whether the Titanic replica would sink. (Be prepared to answer that if you’re going to make a replica of the ill-fated Titanic) To that, Mr. Palmer responded by saying that “Of course it will sink if you put a hole in it” Titanic II would be ready to sail in late 2016 from London to New York if everything goes as per plan.
