Now you can stay like a Maharaja in the city palace of Jaipur


After allowing you to put up the Great Wall of China and the magnificent Highclere Castle, Airbnb is now set to bring you a taste of the Indian grandeur. The online marketplace’s recent listing allows you to live like a royal at the country’s exotic city palace in the city of Jaipur. The 300-year-old site hosts the best in luxury and is being made available for bookings onward November 23.

As part of the listing, guests can stay at the palace’s iconic Gudliya suite which was once home to the royal family of Jaipur. It has seen guests of the likes of Princess Diana and Oprah Winfrey and is touted as one of the most luxurious stays that the country has to offer. The luxe suite is complete with a regal four-poster bed, a lounge, a kitchen, luxurious bathroom and a private and indoor swimming pool and is known to offer panoramic views of the majestic Aravalli ranges surrounding it.

Those opting to stay at the iconic site will be transported to their destination by a chauffeur driven car and will further be attended to by a private butler throughout the duration of their stay. They will also be treated with two gourmet meals at the palace’s in-house restaurant-Baradari, along with the choicest wine and Champagne.
