Breitling has renewed its financial support for preserving the Breitling Super Constellation and launched in its tribute a limited edition chronograph. It will also launch a limited edition of its legendary Navitimer aviation chronograph – from whose sale a $229,022 will go for the association. The watch will bear the inscription “Breitling Super Constellation” on its dial, a golden B shaped logo, and an initial echoed on the plane’s three rear stabilizers. The case will have the technical specifications of the “Super Connie” engraved on it. The case will be of stainless steel with an AR-coated sapphire crystal and is water-resistant to 30 meters. The watch will have a black dial, a Swiss automatic Breitling caliber 23 movements, officially chronometer-certified by the COSC, self-winding, high-frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and 25 jewels. The Barenia or crocodile leather and the Navitimer or Air Racer bracelet straps are available.
