$1.3 billion IPO by Jimmy Choo in Hong Kong


Luxury shoe maker Jimmy Choo is on its heels in going public by attracting bidders with a $1.3 billion initial public offering in Hong Kong. Its buyout firm TowerBrook Capital Partners has made the move and it is reported that private equity group TPG Capital, US clothing maker Jones Group and a consortium of Bahrain-based Investcorp and Germany’s Labelux as bidders for the auction’s second round to be held mid May.
