Just ten examples of the Bugatti Centodieci hypercar were produced, with Bugatti vetting every customer before purchase. Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo managed to get his hands on one for the cool price of $9 million and has been spotted driving it many times. Another Centodieci owner, on the other hand, has just listed chassis 006 for sale with RM Sotheby’s and it’s obvious this one was a garage queen.
Owned by a Swiss collector, this Centodieci has just 272 miles on the clock since it was delivered in 2022. Accordingly, the rare hypercar is expected to fetch up to $15.8 million at auction but should easily cross that price, considering one with 10 times the mileage sold for nearly $20 million.
The Bugatti Centodieci, named a tribute to the famed Bugatti EB110 model and Bugatti’s 100th anniversary, is an evolution of the Bugatti Chiron. Wearing highly stylized bodywork and uprated tuning, the Centodieci puts out 1,600 horsepower from the 8-liter quad-turbo W16 engine. Good for headline figures of 0 to 60mph in 2.4 seconds and a top speed of 236mph, the Centodieci is certainly still at the forefront of the hypercar wishlist.
Unfortunately, the next owner will have to pay VAT per European rules, which state it qualifies as a new car if it has under 3,728 miles on the clock. That could add millions of valuable dollars to the price tag for the buyer. Wearing a two-tone livery of Quartz White and Grey Carbon, with an interior in Beluga Black and Gris Rafale leather, the classy spec and low mileage should make sure this Centodieci breaks records at auction, one way or another.
