Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his ladylove Lauren Sánchez are wrapping up the month with their respective bachelor and bachelorette parties, and the celebrations couldn’t be more telling of their personalities. The power couple is truly like chalk and cheese. While helicopter pilot Sánchez marked her bachelorette with her famous girl gang at a Paris hotspot helmed by a Michelin-starred chef, the world’s second-richest man kept things comparatively low-key.
Not in Paris, and not aboard his $500 million sailing yacht, Koru, Bezos, worth $220 billion, chose to celebrate in Madrid. His venue of choice? The ever-trendy Ten con Ten, one of the hottest restaurants in the upscale Salamanca neighborhood. Known for its chic Italian flair and musical bingo, the spot is popular among wealthy tourists and public figures, offering meals at around €50 (almost $60) per person, a negligible sum for a billionaire, yet perfectly in line with Bezos’s preference for good food, relaxed vibes, and great company.
Bezos and his close-knit group of friends landed in the Spanish capital to celebrate his final days of singledom with a feast at Ten con Ten, led by chef Sandro Silva and his partner, Marta Seco. The group indulged in dishes like semolina risotto with truffle, roasted Pedreiro octopus, and morels in foie gras cream.

The evening continued with cocktails at La Destilería, the hidden bar inside the glamorous Amazónico restaurant, and ended at Gunilla, one of the capital’s buzziest clubs on Paseo de Recoletos, according to El Confidencial. It seems Spain holds a special place in Bezos’s heart. This marks his second visit in just three months. Back in March, he dropped by Capas Seseña, the historic cape store in Madrid that once dressed Picasso, Fellini, and Ava Gardner, and left with a custom souvenir of his own.
Despite being worth $220 billion, Bezos enjoys a relaxed vibe, even during monumental milestones. After the historic launch of his massive Blue Origin rocket, he famously skipped fine dining and opted for pancakes and eggs at the humble Country Cookin’ Diner, where he left a generous tip for the surprised staff. This modesty may carry into his wedding as well. Scheduled between June 24–26 in Venice, the affair is reportedly budgeted at just $15 million, less than what Bezos reportedly spends each month on the upkeep of Koru, the world’s largest sailing yacht.
While Sánchez basks in the spotlight, her fiancé appears content playing it cool in the background, making billions, sipping cocktails, and celebrating with his inner circle. Proof that sometimes, opposites don’t just attract, they thrive together.

Lauren Sánchez, a lover of luxury-
In addition to her ultra-rich soon-to-be husband, Lauren Sánchez is clearly enjoying a lifestyle that rivals that of billionaires. For her bachelorette weekend, the founder of Black Ops Aviation pulled off a headline-grabbing VVIP Parisian soirée at Lafayette’s. With guests like Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Eva Longoria, Katy Perry, and Indian billionaire Natasha Poonawalla, there was no shortage of glamour to keep social media buzzing and paparazzi clicking.
The fine-dining hotspot, helmed by Michelin-starred chef Mory Sacko, is famed for its daring blend of French, African, and American cuisines. While Bezos remains more private, we’re glad the soon-to-be Mrs. Bezos gives the world a taste of her billionaire lifestyle.
