A bejeweled white glove immediately evokes pop-culture memorabilia capable of sending auction gavels flying. The lucky few guests invited to the second NOCTA Manor retreat in New Jersey received their own version of the white “Iceman” glove. Created by Drake and Nike through their collaborative sub-label, the custom glove was adorned with glittering stones to replicate the imagery seen on the cover of Drake’s Iceman album and personally autographed by the rapper.

The glove was not intended for public sale and was reserved exclusively for invited attendees, making it all that more special. Impressive on its own, the glove did not come alone but was part of an elaborate hospitality package that reportedly also included NOCTA pajamas, robes, masks, slippers, utility carts, and other customized items. Neither Drake nor Nike has revealed whether the glove is decorated with diamonds, crystals, or rhinestones. Considering Drake’s famously extravagant tastes, genuine diamonds would hardly appear out of character. However, based on the available close-up images, the embellishments look more like crystals than precious stones.

The real attraction, however, lies not in the materials but in the symbolism. The single white right-hand glove unmistakably echoes Michael Jackson’s legendary one-glove look, while Drake’s autograph gives it an additional layer of provenance. Beneath all the typically extravagant presentation, the piece appears to be based on Nike’s Tour Classic 4 golf glove; a $27 performance glove featuring perforated fingers, curved leather palm reinforcement, and an angled wrist tab.

The Iceman glove is also special for inevitably bringing to mind Jackson’s own famous white gloves. One Swarovski-covered glove associated with the King of Pop sold for a staggering $420,000 in 2009. Reports have also suggested that Drake acquired a Jackson crystal glove for approximately $123,000 in 2023. More than anything, the Iceman glove seamlessly combines the worlds of music, sports, fashion, and collectible memorabilia. It embodies precisely what Drake envisioned when he began his partnership with Nike. “I remember watching all these athletes repping Nike, each doing the unthinkable, and how inspiring it was,” Drake previously explained. “I always felt like there was an opportunity for Nike to embrace an entertainer the same way they had athletes. I thought about how crazy it would have been and what it would have meant for an artist to have a flagship Nike deal.”
Among the fortunate recipients of the Drake-signed Iceman glove were NBA stars Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, alongside musicians Sexyy Red, Yeat, and Central Cee, according to Hypebeast. The retreat reportedly took over Pendry Natirar, a luxury resort in Somerset County, New Jersey.
