Nokia 8800 Sirocco gets Lamborghini-ed

The eternal darling of most die-hard Nokia fans – the Nokia 8800 – is all set to come out in a new avatar. Following a tie-up with Italian automobile giants, Lamborghini, the already sleek and sassy 8800 has been decked up all the more. Plus, we also have some software upgrades to match the class of prestigious label that’s attached to it. The phone rides the tri-band GSM network and provides internet connectivity that includes XHTML browsing, POP3, SMTP, IMAP4, and APOP. Good GPRS speeds can be achieved thanks to the EDGE support provided by the phone. We also have video streaming capabilities and Over-The-Air downloading. It is packed with 128MB internal memory just like the original 8800 and the 2-megapixel shooter. The phone can be used in five continents, thanks to the GSM capabilities of it.

The phone comes loaded with fantastic cellphone wallpapers by Lamborghini and also some gorgeous ring tones by the super-car maestros. shopbot.com.au has the 8800 Sirocco phone between a range of $1300 to $1400. And finally, the phone is a limited edition, only 500 pieces, and that too preferably for Lamborghini customers. Yes indeed, a good buy for those lucky Gallardo owners.
