Samsung’s Frame TV goes slimmer and smarter with TikTok app and a practical shelf

Samsung creating a TV that shocks the world is nothing new; whether it impresses the world by making television look like works of art as seen in the case of the Yves Béhar designed Samsung TV or breaking size norms with a mammoth 110-inch 4K TV, Samsung has done it all. The design-focused Frame TV is now back in the form of the 2021 model looks better than ever. The model comes with an even slimmer design, measuring just 24.9 millimeters thick, Quantum Processor 4K chip handling video processing and smart functions, 6GB of internal storage. In addition to all the apps and services that come your way with a standard Samsung 4K TV, the newest model also brings the Samsung Art Store. This opens a new world of thousands of gallery-quality artwork, both famous works and new material from upcoming artists. If that’s blown your mind already, then wait till you hear that the Frame now has five swappable bezel frames (including the new Teak wood and Brick red) and a stellar new shelving unit designed to surround The Frame, called My Shelf. As it’s literally called, the shelf is exactly that- a shelf specifically designed for the TV, with customizable panels to fit the wall space. It’s available in beige, white, brown, and black and works with the 55-, 65- and 75-inch sizes. The beige option will be launching first, it seems, with the other colors expected to be released later in the year.

The new line of Smart Samsung TVs will include the TikTok app for all of its smart TVs. As of now, pricing and availability for My Shelf haven’t been announced but The Frame is available for pre-order.
