Dubai gears up to open the first St Regis Polo Resort

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide announced the signing of the first ever St Regis Polo Resort scheduled to open in early 2017. The 136 room hotel will sit in the center of a six million square foot equestrian sports complex in Dubai. This ambitious project is in collaboration with the Al Habtoor Group.

St. Regis has been long associated with Polo, which is known to be the Sport of the Kings, so it is quite befitting that they are the ones to open their first Polo Resort in Dubai. The Resort promises to be part of the world class with the state of the art polo and equestrian community. Every guest will be able to watch polo from their rooms or from the restaurant terraces.

st-regis-dubai-al-habtoor-polo-resort-2With 136 luxury guest rooms, 24 luxury bungalows and a further 138 residential villas within the resort, a polo club and academy and a riding club with 500 stables, this will be one of its kind. The guests will have an array of programmes to choose from like dressage, riding and show jumping for all ages. This will also put Dubai on the map of the global polo circuit.
