The first Ritz-Carlton Reserve in the Americas will come up at Dorado Beach


There is nothing more opulent and grand than spending your vacation on an exotic beach that too in the lap of luxury. And after bringing that luxury to Phulay Bay in Krabi, Southern Thailand, the Ritz -Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. will get its first Reserve property in the Americas that too at the striking Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico. Tagged as one of the Caribbean’s most celebrated destinations, Dorado Beach was brought into the limelight over 50 years ago by Laurance S. Rockefeller with the eco-friendly RockResorts. The new Ritz-Carlton Reserve on the same beach will feature 115-room ocean-facing hotels and residences, with the Dorado Beach Resort right in the center, all set to open by the end of 2012.

The developers of this Dorado Beach Resort are also coming up with the West Beach and East Beach, the first branded Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residences. 13 of the beachfront condominiums at West Beach, which is under construction, have already been sold out. The second phase will accept reservations for 14 more West Beach units, 18 villas, and townhomes located at the East Beach. The reserve will be located on the beach and will offer 100 guestrooms alongside 14 one-bedroom suites. There will also be a “Su Casa; the original plantation hacienda renovated back to its original 1920s style to serve as a five-bedroom beachfront VIP villa, perfect for weddings and private parties”.
