Yauatcha has introduced its first-ever private wine label called ‘Ivelle’ in association with Fratelli Wines

If you’re a wine lover, this news is for you! After serving delectable food, Mumbai’s Yauatcha is all set to unveil its debut private wine label – ‘Ivelle’. Introduced in collaboration with Fratelli Wines, the spirit will be available for purchase in a few months but can now be savored by the glass at the restaurant!

Made using a combination of homegrown Müller and Gewürztraminer grapes, the white wine boasts notes of lychee, apricot, and pineapple that make it apt to be paired with the restaurant’s Chinese offerings.

Commenting on it, Kevin Rodrigues, head sommelier at KA hospitality, the group behind Yauatacha, Hakkasan, Nara Thai, and CinCin said, “Indian and Chinese cuisines share similar spices and taste profiles, so when we were crafting this wine with Fratelli, we kept that in mind. Eventually, guests will be able to take the wine home and enjoy it with Indian food.”

Inspired by a French-origin word that means love, ‘Ivelle’ is a result of sheer dedication and the chase for quality. It is presented after eight months of trials and a whole year of delays and is now being served at the Mumbai outlet. The wine will make it to the Kolkata and Bengaluru outposts by December and will be available for purchase to retail consumers by August 2023.
