Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition

Explore the history, science, and drama presented in Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition! Feel the thrill as the Ship takes shape, walk the first-class hallway and into a third-class cabin, and meet the Titanic’s passengers and crew. Phew…….It took a while for it all to sink in. Returning, due to popular demand, the new version of this record-setting Exhibition is scheduled to open to the public on May 26, 2006, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The legendary Tropicana Resort & Casino set the stage for classic Las Vegas excitement offering a view of more than 300 authentic artifacts recovered from the Ship’s debris field. Including china used in the dining rooms and personal effects of some of the passengers, these artifacts add a poignantly personal touch to an experience that cannot be recreated anywhere else.

Here one can witness one of the most compelling stories of our time told as never before through room re-creations and authentic artifacts recovered from the wreck of the Titanic, which lies two and one-half miles below the surface of the North Atlantic. While preserving the memories of the Titanic’s 2,200 passengers and crew, these artifacts, respectfully selected and painstakingly conserved, act as the inspiration for the exhibition, teaching visitors the science and history behind the Titanic’s conception, construction, and discovery.
Using Titanic’s artifacts in concert with scientific data and social history, RMS Titanic, Inc. put forward to the general public the educational and moving exhibition: Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. RMS Titanic, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Premier Exhibitions, Inc. is the only company permitted by law to recover objects from the wreck of the Titanic.
