After creating timepieces, and Smartphones, it’s time for Ulysse Nardin to try its hand at making writing instrument. In a collaborated effort with Visconti, the Le Locle based brand is out with a distinct fountain pen. Set in Ulysse Nardin blue resin that required over 20 steps to produce, the pen’s metal parts are cast in 18-carat gold or 0.925 sterling silver at Visconti’s Florence headquarters. The patented mechanical parts of the pen have many features to boast of, like the bayonet closure system with a safety mechanism.
The filling system of the pen can hold up to 10 ink cartridges, and can prevent ink spillage especially when flying. The famous Visconti triple-channel ink feed in the same blue hue makes sure that the ink flow is immaculate. The pen comes to you along with the travel inkwell so that you can refill your pen on the move.
