Amangati, Aman’s first ocean-going motor yacht and a 23,000 GT beauty, has unveiled its inaugural itineraries, with reservations now open. Come spring 2027, the vessel’s debut season will unfold through five- to eight-night Mediterranean journeys anchored in spectacular, intimate harbors.
With just 94 guests sharing her generous volume, Amangati offers superyacht levels of personal space rather than small-ship density. Everything guests have cherished about Aman on land, including service that feels invisible yet omnipresent, almost telepathic, will now be experienced at sea in absolute tranquility and breathtaking beauty.
The well-appointed suites, 47 in all, are designed to make the journey unforgettable by ensuring comfort is your constant companion. Ranging from 68 to an expansive 354 square metres, each suite comes with its own private terrace and sweeping sea views. It would not be incorrect to say the space feels like it truly belongs to you, as the layout delivers a level of privacy that comes remarkably close to the next best thing to owning a personal superyacht. In true Aman fashion, the interiors take cues from calming Japanese ryokan, with restrained palettes, natural materials, and full-height windows throughout.
Both the exterior and interiors are by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, the Dutch studio behind some of the world’s most coveted custom superyachts. Natural light pours in at every turn, reinforcing a sense of openness and constant connection to the sea.
Then there is the undeniable showstopper, the Aman Spa, a destination in its own right and one guests routinely cross continents to experience. Reimagined aboard Amangati, the spa spans 12,817 square feet across two decks and is billed as the largest in its category. Inside are eight ocean-facing treatment suites, even if you plan to keep your eyes closed, each with generous private terraces, showers, and open-air whirlpool baths. A hammam and banya add to the sensory depth, while daily yoga, meditation, and restorative practices are woven seamlessly into the rhythm of life on board.
For guests who prefer movement at a higher intensity, a state-of-the-art Fitness Studio supports more functional, performance-driven workouts. A Medi Spa, Medical Centre, and Beauty Lounge further reinforce that wellness here is foundational, not an afterthought.
At sea level, the Selora Marina and Lounge becomes the ship’s natural gathering place. Designed as a true beach club rather than a simple boarding platform, it features open-air pools, expansive sun decks, shaded seating areas, and floating platforms that open directly to the water for swimming and water sports.
Dining aboard Amangati is equally deliberate. Guests can move from all-day Mediterranean fare at Alira to Japanese washoku and teppanyaki at Akari and Hiori, or settle into the elemental refinement of Aman Grill. Because Aman understands mood as much as luxury, evenings are as curated as the days. The energy may build at the Jazz Club, while quieter nights unfold at the Cinema or Youth Lounge.
The itineraries themselves are designed to feel distinctly yacht-like. Spanning the Dalmatian Coast, Mediterranean Spain, the French Riviera, and beyond, the voyages blend celebrated destinations with smaller, lesser-visited ports such as Beaulieu-sur-Mer. Many sailings feature slower pacing, late departures, and overnights, allowing guests to experience destinations long after day-trippers have disappeared. One of the major highlights is select itineraries coinciding with major cultural moments, including the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix, while one standout journey includes a rare passage through Venice’s historic Grand Canal.
Currently under outfitting at T. Mariotti’s Genoa shipyard, Amangati is being built for Neptune Co, a joint venture between Aman and Cruise Saudi, and remains on schedule for its 2027 debut. The yacht is also equipped with two helipads and six tenders, and more details will follow in due course.
