Feast your eyes on the all-new 2019 Aston Martin Vantage

Aston Martin has finally revealed the much awaited, all-new, V8 Vantage which makes its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week. The 2019 Aston Martin Vantage is the second model in the carmaker’s car line-up to be completely updated as a part of the brand’s second century product development plans; the first being the DB11 which came out last year. The British marquee says it will introduce seven new models updated from the ground up in an interval of every seven months. Coming back to the freshly updated entry-level sports car by Aston, it looks a lot sharper, modern with crisper lines and sculpted sides and aggressive thanks to the added aerodynamic bodywork. You won’t be wrong if you think the new Vantage strongly resembles the DB11; in fact the new models give us a good idea of the company’s evolving design language.

The slim headlights and the low ‘hill climb’ grill with protruding splitter gives the Vantage an angry looking front fascia. The massive diffuser and sleek taillights extending from side to side dominate the styling of the rear. What’s worth noting is that the car doesn’t use extra active aerodynamic aids to add downforce as the sculpted body does the job for it. The interior of the car has also gone through a massive transformation. The dated cabin has been replaced by a lot more modern setup. The body-colored trim on the center console adds contrast to the otherwise dark interior and it looks brilliant in my opinion. Under the hood is a Mercedes-sourced 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that sends 500 horsepower and 505 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic. With an Aston-claimed zero-to-60 time of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 195 mph, the Vantage is right there amongst the faster supercars on sale today. The 2019 Aston Martin V8 Vantage is priced at $149,995 and deliveries will begin the second quarter of 2018.
