The Mansory Elongation is the tuning company’s take on the Tesla Cybertruck, just with thousands of dollars worth of carbon fiber and 26-inch wheels with supercar-sized tyres that’ll give it the range of a Nissan Leaf

Mansory customisations are usually for customers who like their cars bolder, brasher and more filled with carbon fiber than the stock car it’s based on. The Mansory Elongation, the tuning company’s take on the Tesla Cybertruck, marks the first time a Mansory build packs less utility than the car it’s based on. That’s purely down to the massive 26-inch wheels and 315/40 R26 rubber fitted to the Cybertruck, a move that’s sure to at least halve the electric vehicle’s driving range.

A stock Tesla Cybertruck has 325 miles of estimated range, on 20-inch wheels. Given the increase in weight in the wheels going up to 26 inches, even if they are forged wheels, that’s a whole lot of unsprung weight being added to an EV where efficiency is crucial. We expect the range to be well under 200 miles at this point, putting it level with older generation EVs like the previous Nissan Leaf.

Mansory hasn’t stopped there either, bumping up the tire sizes from the stock 285 profile rubber to supercar-territory 315 section tires. Of course, being a Mansory, there’s carbon fiber trim all over the place, but don’t expect the carbon fiber to bring weight savings.

Instead, the Mansory Elongation has carbon fiber wings, wheel arch extensions, new rear end detailing with a light-up Mansory logo, and a more pleasing interior, surprisingly. While pricing hasn’t been announced, expect it to significantly increase the Cybertruck’s $82,000 MSRP. If one must absolutely announce that they love the Cybertruck, there’s probably no other Cybertruck out there as polarising as the Mansory Elongation.
