When one Saudi Arabian automotive enthusiast bought his $350,000 Lamborghini Huracan STO, he had no intention of keeping it stock. His passion for the local roll racing scene demanded something more extreme, something that could dominate on the street while remaining civilized enough for daily driving duties. The solution was to send his prized supercar on a journey from the Middle East to Underground Racing in North Carolina, USA.
The tuner has built a reputation for creating some of the fastest street-legal supercars on the planet. Their latest project involved completely reimagining what a Huracan could be. The tuning shop essentially rebuilt the engine from the ground up, installing a comprehensive twin-turbocharging conversion that transforms the naturally aspirated Italian V10 into a forced-induction beast.
The modifications go far beyond simply bolting on a pair of turbos. Underground Racing upgraded the transmission to handle the massive power increase, installed a fire suppression system for safety, and fitted the car with their signature UR beadlock wheels. The cooling system received special attention, given the extreme temperatures the car would face back home in Saudi Arabia.
The numbers justify the means. In its most aggressive configuration running E85 ethanol fuel, the modified Huracan produces over 2,000 horsepower at the wheels. Even on regular 93 octane pump gas, the car still manages around 1,200 horsepower. That kind of power puts it in hypercar territory, capable of embarrassing vehicles costing several times more. The owner’s garage itself boasts one such example, a McLaren 720S, alongside a twin-turbo Mustang S550, a Dodge Charger Redeye, and a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
Underground Racing approached this build with their typical attention to detail. The engine received custom forged internals, CNC ported cylinder heads, and machined aluminum intake components. The gorgeous titanium exhaust system was designed specifically to maximize flow while handling extreme heat. A standalone engine management system controls everything, providing launch control and traction management features that help put all that power to the ground.
The best part? All the mods are hidden under the aggressive body panels of a stock Huracan STO, making sure people know it’s something special but not just how insanely special it is. It can be driven on public roads but transforms into a roll racing weapon when needed. It’s an Italian hypercar-beater, with horsepower bred on an American diet, ready to rule the streets of the Middle East.
