Tecnomar’s 142-foot catamaran is more like a floating Dubai villa. The vessel is encapsulated in 600 square meters of glass windows, it has a vertical garden that spans two decks, a luxury spa room, a dedicated area for show cooking and an expansive owner’s suite.

The Italian Sea Group shipyard’s Tecnomar brand has unveiled a 142-foot catamaran that redefines luxury on the high seas. The catamaran is designed to look like a modern dwelling amid the deep blue sea devoid of typical features and layouts. This Is It motor catamaran is gorgeous even without a look inside the splendid interiors owing to eye-catching asymmetries, a unique silhouette enhanced by incorporating 600 square meters of impressive glass windows. The exterior is heavily inspired by fantastic sea creatures and a performance to match their vitality with an optimized hull with hydrodynamic efficiency for reduced fuel consumption.

The avant-garde catamaran is outfitted with innovative exhaust gas treatment technology (SCR – Selective Catalytic Reduction) to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions. Interiors are done by The Italian Sea Group’s Mattia Piro and Gian Marco Campanino. They accommodate 12 guests across six ensuite cabins.

The beauty of these suites is amped by a large skylight and ample head height of 11 feet. The lavish owner’s suite looks resplendent, akin to a seaside villa, complete with a picturesque terrace and a vertical garden spread across two decks. Soothing hues like champagne and platinum-grey dont clash with the serene surroundings.

High-quality leather and bronze, platinum, and gold metallic surfaces add a touch of elegant luxury to the space. “Naturally, what applies to external lines also applies to interior styling,” said Gian Marco Campanino, per Boat International. “Smooth, cocooning, and curvilinear are perfect words to describe the yacht’s interior, plus a touch of pure luxury due to the use of sophisticated and precious materials.” The boat boasts a central lounge with huge floor-to-ceiling doors.

On opening, the exterior lounge combines to become one massive social space complete with a bar, game area, swimming pool, and formal dining space. The owners will always know what’s cooking inside the This Is It motor catamaran as the galley includes a polarised glass for show cooking. Upstairs, one will find tranquility in the spa, rejuvenation in the treatment area, and soothed senses in the sauna and sensory shower. There are umpteen ways to kill time aboard the yacht.
