A secretive tech entrepreneur has bought an 80-foot-long Barbie-pink superyacht. As pretty as it is practical, the $5.9 million vessel features four guest cabins, a DJ console, a flybridge for sundowners, and a tender garage for water toys.”

Vision in white is passé, as Turkey-based VisionF Yachts has ushered in the era of pink, now reigning supreme on the high seas. The choice of hue, while fantastic, is surprisingly linked to a secretive tech entrepreneur. This all-pink 82-foot catamaran outshines Barbie’s dream house, marking an exceptional dreamboat in its own right. As the fourth and final hull in the Turkish yard’s successful VisionF 80 series, it strikes the perfect balance between practicality and prettiness, retaining the same configuration as its predecessors but with a pink flair.

The ship’s brains and soul remain intact, but its presentation has undergone a distinct, retro, and outlandishly outstanding overhaul! Starting with the sprawling 54-square-meter main saloon, it’s a Barbie heaven with plush velvet flooring, retro sofa chairs, and integrated lighting in striking neon pink. According to Boat International, the fixed furniture is produced in-house, supplemented by designer pieces from RoveConcepts, Moro, Crate & Barrel, Kravet, Paola Lenti, and Farrow & Ball. The guest cabins, four in total, are simpler and devoid of frills and pink, maintaining only the plush carpeting.

VisionF Yachts shared with SWNS that the client requested a custom shade of pink, not only for the exterior but also for the furniture and carpets inside. “She is unique in many ways,” said Ali Tanir, general manager of VisionF Yachts. The exterior decks welcome guests to spectacular vistas, particularly enjoyable over delectable dishes and alfresco entertaining, complete with a DJ console.

The 80-footer offers ample space for relaxation, with the flybridge serving as a fantastic party area for sundowners or sunbathing on a leisurely day. The pink theme resurfaces with a small Williams jet tender, stored toward the stern, complemented by a hydraulic platform for easy water access or use as a tender garage.

Powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS 1050 drives, the VisionF 80 catamaran can reach a top speed of 18 knots. This pretty pink catamaran, costing nearly $6 million, has been acquired by an unidentified tech entrepreneur.
