Check out the plans for Dubai’s $2.8 billion mega theme park

Come October and Dubai is going to get mighty more popular. One of the ESTs, of course, and this time it is a $2.8 billion theme park. Not one, but a combination of six theme parks to form one mega theme park. The project is supposed to offer the best of east with the best of west. There will be a Taj Mahal-structured Bollywood Parks Dubai which will offer five zones inspired by five blockbuster Bollywod movies. For hindi movie lovers this will be a fantasy of sorts. Similarly, motiongate Dubai will offer a journey into the world of Hollywood movies. This park will feature 27 rides and attractions. LEGOLAND Dubai and LEGOLAND Water Park will be haven for children with themed rides, and water attractions. Food takes centre stage at Riverland Dubai, a park for everything to do with dining … under a theme. Lastly, Lapita Hotel – a Polynesian-themed family resort. All coming under one umbrella – Dubai Parks & Resorts. Government officials want more people to come to Dubai and this project is expected to motivate travellers on transit, or others seeking exception holidaying options, to drop in and enjoy a surreal world in the heart of the desert.

Being one of the largest airports in the world, Dubai Airport currently holds the record for highest number of international travellers arriving, departing and passing through the gates. Dubai never ceases to amuse, and this looks like it is no exception. There is a buzzing rumour that the market is going to crash this year, with plenty of jobs at stake and businesses threatened. The Dubai Park & Resorts hence comes at an apt time to fan consumerism with tourism. It is now only a matter of time to see what fate lies for – both the park, and Dubai. Strap in folks, Dubai is here to serve you some serious entertainment.
