To celebrate the 85th anniversary of the iconic Reverso Watch, Swiss watchmakers Jaeger-LeCoultre have teamed up with shoe maestro Christian Louboutin for a cool new collaboration. The Reverso, with its art deco aesthetic has become a blank canvas for the creativity of the renowned shoe designer.
Louboutin’s Reverso is inspired by his travels, a concept that manifests as bright, vibrant, iridescent, and shimmering colors. His creations also showcase the intersection of different worlds from the covered galleries of Paris to the carved wood lattice work of North Africa and oriental stones. For certain models, the designer has also drawn his inspiration from his own shoe collections. Christian believes that a watch is inseparable from its strap, as these two elements form a whole so his watches are imagined in the same way that one creates a jewelry collection, by giving each one a strong, original identity.
Available in two sizes, the Reverso Classic Duetto features simple and unfussy classical Art Deco lines on the front, while the back -with two rows of diamonds on either side of the dial- has Christian Louboutin’s whimsical touch!
