Take a look at Floyd Mayweather’s new watch which has 280 carats of diamonds and costs a whopping $18 million

Professional boxer Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather makes no secret of his extensive wealth and we here at LL have shown a healthy obsession with his utterly extravagant car collection. From expensive vacations to cars, jets and designer clothing and accessories, Mayweather’s Instagram catalogue is basically a social media sneak peek into his fabulous life. Just last month, he impressed us with a glance at his customised Patek Phillipe watch, but yesterday we were practically reaching for our sunglasses after our first look at his $18m Billionaire Watch from Jacob & Co.

This is an earlier version of the brand’s Millionnaire watch, dripping with an eywatering 260 carats of emerald-cut diamonds. When a watch is totally covered with diamonds, you only have so much attention left to give to its movement, but this one features an exclusive Jacob & Co. Skeleton Manual Winding Caliber JCAM09 with Tourbillon.

Mayweather, humble as always, captioned the short clip of the watch with this message, “This my new timepiece, it’s called “The Billionaire Watch”. If you don’t know about it, google Billionaire Watch. That’s $18 Million on the price tag.” Oh Floyd, never change.

He went on to praise the Tokyo based jeweler from whom he purchased the unsubtle timepiece: Tadashi Fukushima who runs G.N.W. and Co. saying, “I bought this watch from the best jeweler in the world, hands down @tadashi1980. He has better prices than any other jeweler that I’ve ever done business with ever and trust me, I’ve bought jewelry from every jeweler in NYC, Vegas, LA, Detroit, Houston and Miami. From here on out I’m only buying from @tadashi1980 fire your jeweler and hire @tadashi1980 Follow his page now.”
