Artist Robert Bradford creates unique dog sculptures from plastic toys

Remember the unique dog sculpture made of crayons by artist Herbs William? Well, here is one that definitely tops the crayon sculpture. Artist Robert Bradford has created a dog sculpture from plastic toys! Yes, this colorful Pug in the picture consists of up to 3,000 miniatures, including soldiers, animals, and even a Power Ranger. The former psychotherapist began building his unique sculptures four years ago. He says, “I stared into my kids’ toy boxes, and they made a great combination of colors, shapes, and textures. It gave me the idea to turn them into new beings.” His pieces include pooches made of household brushes, a button-eared sniffer dog, and a dachshund made from pan scrubs. The artist who has just finished an angel mounted with musical instruments sells his pieces for up to £12,000 ($19,500). Toy art has never been so appealing before.
