Star Wars barbie dolls are here for $100 each

Star Wars is legendary and Barbie is a legend. It was only a matter of time that these two stalwarts were smashed together in collaboration. Mattel and Disney have joined forces to release Star-Wars themed Barbie dolls this fall. The collection includes Princess Leia, Darth Vader, and R2-D2 Barbie dolls and is a result of Mattel celebrating Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. We are really digging the Barbie version of Leia Organa who looks ultra-chic with iconic cinnamon-bun-like hairstyle, a flowing white gown with floor-length sleeves and a leg slit that reveals her strappy, knee-high boots. Darth Barbie looks very demagogue in a head-to-toe shiny-black ensemble. Metallic details at her collar and waist, dark glasses and an emblematic black cape finish the look. I like R2-D2 Barbie the most with her dome skirt, bomber jacket and thigh-high boots over silvery tights. That vibrant blue ponytail is a winner and “radar eye” detail completes the look.

The collection is set for a November 18 release date, but they’re available to preorder online now. You can acquire all the Star Wars Barbie dolls for $100. Available for sale on Amazon today.
