With great technology come great accessories. Gone are the days of covers de rigueur. Samsung Electronics and Hexa by kuho have created astonishing accessories for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 zoom. Adorned with the traditional Housouge pattern and designed in luxurious leather, the creations couldn’t have had a more fashionable debut than the one they made at the Paris Fashion Week. “Fashion and technology have so much in common in the way they both strive to push existing boundaries, and so the opportunity to bring the two together is one which I have embraced,” mused Kuho Hung. On the runway, the avant-garde collection displayed a white color accessory for Galaxy Note 3 and white and black color accessories for Galaxy S4 zoom, respectively.
“I find inspiration from so many different sources, from fashion to film to art, and this particular project attracted my attention as it offered a new medium to tackle,” said Kuho Jung, Executive Creative Director, Cheil Industries, Inc. Of the conceived pieces, The Galaxy Note 3 clutch bag is a protective case and more.
Decorated by a Korean floral medallion, its sophistication rests in tradition, while the sleek shoulder strap lends it a modern execution. Equipped with a zipper, the clutch opens up fully to reveal one side designed to hold up to 3 credit cards and the other to house the tablet phone’s large 5.7-inch screen.
The Galaxy S4 zoom case, on the other hand, is a versatile commodity. Fashioned in a camera lens-shaped design for a streamlined appearance, it can either be attached to Hexa by kuho’s new leather handbag for the ultimate fashionable portability or carried off in style separately. “We wanted to ensure that our customers have the choice to complement their mobile devices. Thanks to this collaboration with ‘Hexa by kuho,’ the Galaxy Note 3 and S4 zoom owners are allowed to express their sophisticated taste and design preference with high quality and premium accessories, ” enthused Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, IT & Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics.
