The words first air conditioner that cools a room using AI

Japan has always been at the forefront when it comes to technology, be it cell phones that offer contactless payments (they had them 15 years ago), robotic toys (remember the Sony Aibo), smart toilets, and more, you can only find it in Japan. The latest to join the bandwagon is an air conditioner from Mitsubishi Electric that is the smartest in the world. According to the company, it is equipped with artificial intelligence, the air conditioner monitors not only monitors the room temperature but also the outside temperature and solar radiation The onboard sensors constantly monitor the people in the room and then adjusts the temperature of each of the person in the room. The unit has two fans one for idle air flow and the other is the smart one which directs personalized air flow to the individual.

And this is just the tip of it, the unit has a moving infrared sensor which measures the temperature of the hand and feet of the people in the room. It does this very accurately in increments of 0.1 degrees and detects if the persons are comfortable or not. It also detects if its an adult or a child and then according to the feeling of each person constantly adjusts the air flow to make them feel comfortable. It constantly analyzes the temperature, the outside conditions and the people inside and forms prediction models and tries to make the cooling as comfortable and efficient as possible.

For now, the Mitsubishi Kirigamine FZ series is available in Japan only for $ 4200.
