Johnnie Walker collaborates with Philip Lawson Johnston to create limited edition hand engraved scotch bottles

Perhaps the only real connection between the engraving of glass and the distilling of scotch was the precision both these tasks required, until now. In an attempt to create truly unique bottles of Scotch whisky, the Johnnie Walker House has collaborated with Philip Lawson Johnston, the world renowned glass engraver, to create a one-of-a-kind limited edition series. Being one of the most widely distributed brands of Scotch whisky in the world, Johnnie Walker is constantly on the lookout for innovative ways to turn heads, and this collaboration is probably one of the finest works of art out together by the company.

The John Walker Philip Lawson Johnston Limited Edition engraved bottles will be available exclusively at the Johnnie Walker House and will be available in two distinct designs, the “Classic MacNab” Challenge and the “Distillery Heritage”. The Classic MacNab Challenge bottles are based on the novel called John MacNab by John Buchan. These bottles are engraved with species like the salmon, stag and grouse, all of which are found in the Scottish Highlands. The Distillery Heritage bottles on the other hand are engraved with an iconic 185-year-old distillery perched on the shore of Loch Harport.
