When you’re rich and famous, the ultimate luxury is most often what’s just out of reach, that is personal space and the freedom to live on your terms. It’s why you see people in the public eye — actors, artists, F1 race drivers and titans of industry — gravitating towards private jets and luxury yachts.
There’s one company that would like that to extend to motorhomes once again, Loki Coach, a coach builder of Prevost motorhomes that’s pushing the envelope as far as design, convenience, modernity and luxury is concerned. Real estate expert Erik Conover, also a popular YouTuber with 2.6+ million subscribers who lives in New York, recently spent the night in Loki Coach’s flagship motorhome and came away very, very impressed.
Conover was invited to spend a night in the motorhome, parked trackside at the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal right next to all the action. As he points out in his video tour of the Elite H-Series Motorhome by Loki Coach on a Prevost H3-45 chassis, this is one sleek motorhome that’s very far removed from your typical Winnebago.
For starters, the 45-ft long motorhome features four slide-outs that can expand the living space to dimensions that are wider than some tiny New York apartments, something Conover has experienced as a resident of the Big Apple himself.
Starting from the front of the motorhome, there are two captain chairs for the driver and co-passenger trimmed in white leather and said to cost $20,000 combined, which sets the tone for what to expect from the rest of the tour.
The motorhome features 10 tablets with access to all the vast functions on the motorhome, including setting the privacy glass windows translucent, or even shutting them completely with blackout blinds. There’s a fully-equipped kitchen, a stowaway dining table, plenty of smartly designed storage, and sofa-cum-beds that extend electronically to offer sleeping for up to six people, including the master bedroom’s king-size bed!
Adding to the list of things you wouldn’t expect in a motorhome, there are high ceilings, a retractable 65-inch TV in one of them, a 50-inch TV in the bedroom, TWO well-designed shower/washrooms with pantry space – one of which is accessible even when the slide outs aren’t extended.
There’s even a full washer/dryer setup. Outside, there’s a full grill and kitchen area, another 50-inch TV for outdoor entertainment, plenty of storage space, and even the mechanicals of the motorhome are well laid out under the high deck to maximize space utilization.
This Loki Coach Prevost motorhome packs enough onboard battery power to sustain for a week and can be charged up via an array of solar panels, or supercharged alternators attached to the massive Volvo engine with 500 horsepower and 1,850 lb-ft torque. The motorhome’s battery can even be used to charge an EV, while all systems are operating inside. Of course, all this comes at a cost – $2.5 million plus, to be exact. But when the typical customers for such a luxurious motorhome are multi-million dollar artists on tour, actors who want some space, even F1 drivers and well-heeled overlanders, it’s a small price to pay for the ultimate luxury of space and freedom.
