MV Agusta and Lewis Hamilton team up for a $70,000 limited edition motorcycle

Italian motorcycle-maker MV Agusta has collaborated with three-time Formula 1 Champion Lewis Hamilton to introduce a limited edition version of their F4 RC. Named the MV Agusta F4 LH44, the special edition bike will cost you £53,900 ($71,500 in US money) and only 44 examples will be up for grabs. It’s not the first time the two have come together to introduce a special edition motorcycle – MV Agusta teamed up with the British racecar driver previously to create the limited-edition Brutale Dragster RR Lewis Hamilton LH44. Daimler owns the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team Hamilton drives for, which also owns a 25-percent stake in MV Agusta.

Finished in Candy Apple Red color and the frame painted in pearl white, the special edition MV Agusta F4 LH44 starts of as a 205bhp F4 RC. Reparto Corsa race kit that includes a titanium silencer and control unit bumps the power by 7 horses while shedding 8 pounds of excess weight. Lewis Hamilton’s panther logo is also featured on the bike. “I am very excited to continue my partnership with MV Agusta. I love working with Giovanni and the guys at MV Agusta, their passion for engineering and attention to detail produces stunning, original looking bikes,” said Hamilton.
