Watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre has launched a new Care Program to further strengthen its position as a top-tier brand that values unmatched customer service. The program along with offering personalized service to its customers with value-added information, advice and services will provide an 8-year warranty on all watches for clients. The extended warranty by Jaeger-LeCoultre is the longest among major watch brands, setting a new benchmark in the watchmaking industry. While most of the high-end watchmaking brands offer a standard 2-year warranty on their products, Rolex was the first to extend the warranty coverage to 5 years in 2015. Watchmakers like Omega, Ulysse Nardin and Audemars Piguet followed suit and also offer a 5-year extended warranty to its clients.
By launching the Care Program, Jaeger-LeCoultre has made a bold statement on the quality of its watches and the engineering behind creating the timepieces. Starting from 15 May 2019, clients of Jaeger-LeCoultre will be able to take benefit of the program by registering their watches on a dedicated digital platform. The Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces that are still covered by the original international warranty will be eligible for the Care Program and the 8-year warranty extension. After their registration, Jaeger-LeCoultre clients will receive personalized services throughout the life of their timepieces. Services under the program include in-store functional checks and maintenance of the timepieces. The dedicated digital platform will offer specific information and advice provided by Jaeger-LeCoultre’s craftsmen along with pre-configured digital tools for personalization and care.
Catherine Rénier, CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre, said in a statement: “We are proud to say that our new Care program is an integral part of our Maison’s values to foster a long-term and caring relationship with our customers. We continuously invest in the satisfaction of our valued customers and this program and warranty offer is a true milestone designed to assist our customers in knowing better and taking care of their timepieces. We are excited to offer this new solution to our customers’ evolving preferences while remaining true to our Maison’s long traditions and status as the Home of Watchmaking, by constantly challenging ourselves to take technology, design and service quality to the next level.”
