Parmigiani Atalante Flyback Chronograph

We have kept a close watch of Parmigiani Bugatti Type 370 collection for its unique design and technical virtuosity. Parmigiani recently launched its latest Bugatti-inspired time-piece, the Atalante Flyback Chronograph. Unlike its highly conventional Type 370, the Atalante is a more traditional round, 43mm time-piece and is available in red, white gold as well as a limited number in platinum. The Bugatti Atalante 57S Sports grill inspires the dial’s vertical embrasures, and the chronograph pushers are located on the left. The watch features an “EB” emblem at 6 that symbolized the relationship between the two brands. The chronograph movement is Caliber PF335 and is based on the brand’s first in-house chronograph movement. The Atalante also features two tachymetric displays in addition to the chronograph’s 30 minute counter and small seconds.

One on the bezel allows one to time high-speed events, whereas the one on the 30 minute counter allows tracking of slower events such as walking or running. The Red and White Gold version retails for $59,000, while the limited edition of 17 pieces of platinum is priced at $93,000.
