French ‘brick and click’ clothing and accessory boutique, Collete, is known to influence designs and concepts that truly inspire the senses. Their especially palatable collaboration with leading thematic brand-owners gives their releases a touch of acceptability that has become the brand’s hallmark.
This time, the Parisian boutique is extending the idea of working on timepieces from Parmigiani Fleurier, with design assistance from Andre Saraiva. The former gave Andre a free run of its Tonda 1950 to play with the typefaces so as to add a touch of customization and design excellence. It goes without saying that the artist rolled out three renditions of faces that could each set a standard for the line. Namely, the Paris, New York and Love faces resonate the artists’ ability to add life and vigor to everything he touches.
The watch also offers custom straps by Atelier du Bracelet Parisien. The choices of straps include a red brushed galuchat in shark skin, a snake skin optionand other fabrics and leathers that echo the luxury aspect of the watches.
A total of eleven models are available in all. The women’s collection will retail for $25,357 while the men’s variants will sell for $21,657.
