Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW) 2014 is back in Mumbai to flourish the winter trends. Besides the changing fashion, this year the prestigious event will be set in a whole new location at the Palladium Hotel, Lower Parel.
After a five-year-long partnership with the Grand Hyatt hotel in Santacruz, LFW has decided to move to a more central Mumbai location — the new and upcoming Palladium Hotel.LFW’s new event location spans across two floors of opulent event spaces, 8 th and 9 th, of the Palladium Hotel and promises to startle its guests with many new features and surprises. The robust administrative and hospitality assets re-affirm the Palladuim Hotel’s credentials and prospects of being the perfect new host. One of the major reasons to shift the venue is to avoid inconvenience caused last August, due to the monsoon season in Mumbai, thus the organizers are making sure that all events should be scheduled indoor.
India’s premier fashion and lifestyle event, Lakme Fashion Week, provides a platform for a mix of more than hundred established and upcoming designers to showcase their latest collections. The five-day event, running from August 20-24, 2014, will span the massive 8th and 9th floors of the mid-town hotel.
