Taking inspiration from his luxe menswear collection, Tavano has created dapper drapes with the use of high-end materials for the all-grey kennel. He has carefully chosen Crypton home textiles—fabrics and treated leathers by Conneaut—each of which stand for their durability against paws, accidents, and enthusiastic slobbering. Commenting on the choice of materials, the designer quipped, “This particular one, a rich woven called Heather, looks like a menswear tweed but really feels like a cashmere.” He further added, “it’s so soft, yet it repels spills and stains and odors—it is perfect for any pet or high traffic area.”
Speaking of details, Tavano’s exclusive Pooch Palace comes with a hand-tufted cushion, a handmade leather piping, and a box-pleated privacy drapery with a classic leather trim. It is further complimented with a tray topper that holds an Oscar collar and leash by French trunk maker Goyard along with a Convivio pewter treat jar by MATCH.
