Celebrities get mocked constantly, and laugh it off; ask Donald Trump. However, two individuals might not appreciate the humor on Seth MacFarlane’s animated show, Family Guy: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. In a recent episode of the satirical cartoon series, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex became the target of some funny-natured ribbing. In this particular episode, the central character, Peter Griffin, compares himself to the royal couple while contemplating how to recover money owed to him. In a humorous twist, Griffin declares he’ll “go it alone” just like the Sussexes.

The scene then shifts to a portrayal of the former royal couple lounging by a pool in their swimwear, with a diligent butler serving them “millions from Netflix.” The butler quips, “Sir, your millions from Netflix for… no one knows what.” Harry’s character nonchalantly replies, “Put it with the rest of them.” Meghan enters the scene with a witty remark, saying, “Babe, time to do our daily $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for Del Taco.” Harry humorously responds, “I shouldn’t have left the made-up nonsense.”

Since stepping down as working members of the royal family in 2020, Meghan and Harry have been the target of considerable criticism and humor. This particular clip on Family Guy playfully pokes fun at the Sussexes’ reported $100 million deal with the streaming giant Netflix. In addition to their docu-series “Harry & Meghan,” which focused on the Invictus Games competitors from around the world, the couple also lent their voices to the “Live to Lead” series on the same platform.

Before the Family Guy episode, the couple had already been parodied in a South Park episode released in February. In that episode, they were humorously depicted as the Prince and Princess of Canada, seeking privacy while simultaneously drawing attention to themselves. If Harry and Meghan believe that any kind of publicity is good, they may enjoy watching this episode of Family Guy.
